Featuring 26 professional antiques
dealers, the Winter Antique Show is held in March, and the
Summer Antique Show is held in August, at the Beaver Valley
Community Centre in Thornbury. Antiques, art, and
collectibles, will be on display, as well as antique dealers
are available to discus inquiries and questions. Some
antiques are available for purchase and in the past have
included: Victorian jewellery, pottery and porcelain items,
dolls and toys, artwork, as well as household furnishing
including Persian rugs and furniture. They will be
celebrating their 22nd year in 2012. These events are known

This annual event is held in March in
support of the Georgian Triangle Humane Society. Taking
place at the beautiful Westin Trillium House every April,
guests are treated to cocktails, a superb catered supper, as

Held annually mid April at the Creemore
Arena, this Home & Garden Show is host to over 80 exhibitor
booths, home & garden displays, speakers, workshops, and the
highly anticipated Big Backyard Giveaway package worth
thousands of dollars. In order to be entered into the draw
for the Big Backyard Giveaway, a Peak FM passport is handed
out after a donation to the Creemore Tree Committee. After
visiting certain booths and receiving all of the Peak FM
stamps, the passports are completed and entered into the
drum for the giveaway! Vendor booths include: Garden & Home
Accessories and Décor, Garden Centres and Landscaping
Companies, Garden and Lawn Services, Home Improvements, Home

Every year during the first weekend in
June, The Blue Mountain Foundation for the Arts puts on a
wonderful studio and art tour that features over 70
artists. Artists from Collingwood, Wasaga Beach, Blue
Mountain, Thornbury, Clarksburg, Nottawa, Duntroon, Glen
Huron, the Pretty River Valley, and the Beaver Valley host
thousands of tourists. A multitude of art mediums are
featured including: pottery, jewellery, glasswork, painting,

L.E. Shore Memorial Library in
Thornbury hosts this annual dancing event every June.
Events include a BBQ, musical guests, as well as lots of
children’s activities, making this a great family event.
During this Canada Day even,
participants will start at the Talisman and bike 16 km to
Heathcote, they will then paddle the Beaver River 6 km to
Slabtown, and then run 5 km to the finish line in
Clarksburg! This non-traditional race is meant to be fun
and caters to all sorts of athletic abilities. The race can
be run in teams of up to four people or solo. Prizes are
awarded, and every racer receives a t-shirt. Click

Come and celebrate the delicious and
tart Raspberry, at The Farmer's Pantry in Clarksburg. Enjoy
tractor wagon rides, live music, caricature painting, games,
pony rides, raspberry picking, or become a contestant in the
pie eating contest! All donations from the July Festival
will be given to Camp Quality - a camp dedicated to giving
kids with cancer and recovering from treatment a camp that

Hosted at Cedar Run Horse Park, this is
Ontario’s only Ribfest sanctioned by the Kansas City
Barbeque Society. The BBQ competitors battle recipes for
over $8,000 in prize money in four categories: chicken,
ribs, pork, and brisket. The Annual TC Rotary Chili
Cook-off is also held during this weekend long event in
July. Contestants can enter categories such as: Texas Chili,
Chili Con Carne, People’s Choice, and other showmanship

Mountains, during this four day event held at the end of

Midway, live musical entertainment from Elvis Performers on

Music Festival highlights independent recording artists from

the annual Duck Race in Clarksburg is held annually in
August. 1st prize is $1,000, 2nd
prize is $250, 3rd is $100, 4th is
$50, and 5th is always a surprise! Before the
race begins at 3 pm, take part in “Junk in your trunk” yard
sale, kid’s games, and food! Hosted by the Lion’s Club the
night before, is the Duck Race Dinner Theatre event, which

Centurion Canada’s goal is for racers to race, and riders to
ride. Three lengths of course are offered: 100km, 50km, and
25km; however there are also kids routes and a hill climb.
Centurion cycling boasts a coordinated mass start, chip
