WELCOME TO THE BLUE MOUNTAINS

The Town of The Blue Mountains is one of the most unique vacation destinations in the world.  Every year thousands of Canadian and International guests enjoy the intimate small-town charm and distinguished amenities of this special community. This distinctive four season locale offers special events, recreational activities, spectacular scenery, fine dining, relaxing beaches, and an immense selection of accommodation options to make your stay pleasurable.

Many of Ontario's most popular ski areas are located in, or close to, the Town of The Blue Mountains, including: Alpine, Beaver Valley, Blue Mountain, Craigleith, Devil's Glen, Georgian Peaks, Osler Bluff.  Kolapore Uplands and the Loree Forest present excellent cross-country ski trails and snowshoeing opportunities. There are miles of snowmobile trails to explore and when the snow melts, you can explore the hiking and cycling trails throughout the area. The internationally-known Bruce Trail, (designated as an International Biosphere) and the Georgian Trail (32 km from Collingwood to Meaford) both meander through the region.

Apples have long been a mainstay of the agricultural history of the town, and this local industry continues to develop strongly. Storage capacity, as well as, juice production is increased regularly. Guests are invited to take spring tours of acres of glistening blossoms and then return again in autumn to enjoy their rosy harvest. While hiking or cycling, you can often find a place next to the water for a quick paddle on a hot day. Scenic mountain and water views are everywhere and if you should spot a herd of buffalo, deer, or emu in a field you're not hallucinating - they're raised here too!

Come to the Town Of The Blue Mountains in any season; you’ll be delighted.
